Or haGan, Light of the Garden Jewish Community in Eugene, will begin new programming this fall (2008) for university students. It will provide: synagogue skills and adult b'nai mitzvah; the Jewish spiritual path; training in Jewish leadership and preparation for maggidut (lay leadership as preacher, teacher and community organizer).

Students in our spiritual leadership program will learn skills that are transdenominational. This will work well in a university and community college setting. Several students will have the opportunity to learn and build Jewish communal skills through internships at Or haGan, as well as mentorship with members of the Board of Directors.

Students are always encouraged to attend Or haGan Shabbat worship and weekday services, as well as our special events.

Student yearly membership is $100.00
